Replay QA: Using Replay QA in Obvious

Connect Replay QA to your Obvious workspace by installing the Replay QA connector and authorizing your Replay QA account with OAuth.

Open Workspace Connectors

Find the Replay QA connector card. If it is not visible, use the search field to search for Replay QA.

Click Connect

On the Replay QA connector card, click Connect.

Authorize Replay QA with OAuth

Follow the OAuth prompts to sign in to the Replay QA account you want to connect and authorize Obvious to use it. When authorization completes, Obvious finishes connecting the Replay QA connector to your workspace.

Obvious confirms the Replay QA MCP server connection succeeded after OAuth authorization.

Ask Replay QA to test your app

In the Obvious chat, ask: Use the Replay QA mcp server to test this app.

Watch the QA run in Obvious

Replay QA embeds an iframe on the right-hand side of Obvious. Use it to watch the QA run's progress as it tests your app.

Ask Obvious to fix Replay QA bugs

After a Replay QA run reports bugs, ask Obvious to retrieve and fix them. For example: Can you grab all of the bugs from Replay QA and fix them? Obvious can inspect the findings, update your app, and ask Replay QA to rerun affected journeys to verify the fixes.
